Two openings for Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists with RDMS ultrasound certification. The assignment is at Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility in Belcourt ND.
 

Key points:
• Target technologists with two years of ultrasound experience.
• RDMS certification required and must stay current.
• Experience with rural hospital settings preferred.
• Must support pediatric through adult patients.
• Must operate fixed and portable ultrasound equipment.
• Must perform general, obstetric, breast, DVT, RVT and complex studies as trained.
• Must keep daily logs, schedule patients, handle prep instructions and support quality control.
• Must assist during medical emergencies including CPR and anaphylaxis response.
• Must support RPMS and EHR workflows.
• Must document fully and meet JCAHO and CMS standards.
 

Scheduling:
• Shifts arranged with the radiology supervisor.
• Shifts range from 8 to 16 hours between 7:30 am and 12:00 am.
• One hour lunch break on long shifts.
• On call after scheduled shifts.
• Requires six hours rest before any shift.
• No sleeping permitted while on duty.
 

Professional expectations:
• Maintain patient dignity and strong communication.
• Participate in quality review, improvement efforts and department meetings.
• Follow all infection control and safety processes.
• Provide education to staff as needed.
• Must speak and write English clearly.
• Must work well with Native American communities.
 

Required documentation for submission:
• Resume showing two years ultrasound experience.
• RDMS certification.
• BLS or ACLS.
• Proof of training, licensure and education.
• Reference letters from supervisors and colleagues.
• Statements on privileges, malpractice, disciplinary history and health status.
