Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide respiratory therapy care in a critical access hospital setting.
• Serve a patient population of all ages.
• Work independently and may be the only respiratory therapist on shift.
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Critical Care settings is required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Work Details

• Shift: See shift details (not specified).
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours.
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed.
• Call Requirements: As needed.
• Float Requirements: As needed.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License/Certification valid in West Virginia

Required Experience

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital.
• Comfortable being the sole respiratory therapist on shift.
• Professional demeanor.

• Provides care to approximately 13,000 patients annually and treats over 50,000 patients in the emergency room.
• Offers a wide range of surgical services including robotic surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, eye, and trauma/emergency services.
• Supports nursing and allied health student instructional programs.
