We are a level one trauma center so we do a fair amount of emergent cases and we also do Stroke Intervention. We have 2 Siemens rooms both Artis Z, one single and the other is a biplane. We have two new Philips Azurion rooms. Our Biplane unit has only been running for about a month now and we are transitioning that to be our primary Neuro room. Our 5th room is a C Arm that we do mostly Mediports and tunnel lines in with our mid-level providers. Mondays we typically have 2-3 Neuro intervention cases that range from aneurysm coilings, pipeline stent placement or onyx treatment of an AVM. Our IR rooms range from Urologic work ( NU S, PCN and SPT placements) Liver ( Bland embo, Y90, Tips, TJ biopsies) Dialysis (catheters, declots, fistulas) Embolization s ranging from Trauma to GI.Our mid-level room is where we place and remove Mediports and do para s and thora s. Vascular uses the Jet stream, Angiojet, CSI and IVUS systems quite frequently. And both our IR and Neuro providers use Pnumbra systems for revascularization.
