Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Summary:
- Provide practical nursing care: vitals, meds, treatments, documentation, and supportive care
- Follow nursing care plans and direction from RN/physician
- Support ADLs/hygiene, restorative techniques, and patient education reinforcement
- Maintain infection control practices and help keep supplies/equipment stocked
- Respond to emergencies; provide first aid/CPR when appropriate
- Physical requirements include assisting with transfers/ambulation and pushing carts/wheelchairs
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements:
- Current Pennsylvania LPN license (or eligible to sit for PNLEX)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) + ability to document in electronic medical record
- 1+ year of LPN experience in a medical environment
- Ability to work full shift and support overtime needs
