Description

Wellness QA Nurse Manager (RN) – Midtown Manhattan | Full-Time Contract
Pay: $58 - $60/hr

Midtown Manhattan-based organization is looking for a Wellness QA Nurse Manager who knows how to connect quality, data, and clinical insight—and actually move the needle.

This role sits at the center of quality improvement, provider collaboration, and team leadership. If you’ve worked with HEDIS, understand gaps in care, and can lead a team while staying hands-on, this may be for you.

What you’ll own:

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives using HEDIS measures and corrective action plans
  • Review charts + population health data to identify trends and performance gaps
  • Act as the clinical bridge between providers and the Fund on quality-of-care issues
  • Analyze performance, spot opportunities, and partner with leadership on solutions
  • Oversee gaps in care across chronic + behavioral health conditions and ensure follow-through
  • Lead, mentor, and provide oversight to Wellness RNs and Health Educators

What you bring:

  • NYS RN license (BSN preferred)
  • 3+ years in Quality Improvement + 2+ years in management
  • Background in ambulatory care, community health, or med-surg
  • Strong clinical judgment + patient education skills (motivational interviewing matters here)
  • Solid understanding of HEDIS + NCQA standards
  • Comfortable working with data, trends, and cross-functional teams
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
  • Willingness to travel locally + flex hours when needed

If you’re looking for a role where quality isn’t just a report—but something you actively shape—let’s connect.
