3. Required skills, minimum years of experience, and/or education: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program • Minimum 2 years hospital Med Surg experience • Experienced w/ Total joint replacements • Experienced w/ Abdominal surgical procedure
4. Required licensures, certificates/registrations, and/or life support certifications: • State of Nebraska (or multistate) RN license • BLS - AHA/ARC
5. Shift or schedule requirements: • 1845-0715 / 0645-1915
6. Floating to other units/departments: • PCU if comfortable and qualified
7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/department: • This is a 32-bed acute care facility. • All levels of care (MS/PCU/ICU) are housed in the same area.
8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit (nursing only): • 1:5 MS • 1:4 PCU
9. Dress Code: • Pewter Grey or Light Turquois
10. Tell us about the unit/department-specific training and orientation program: • General orientation for travelers lasts 4 hrs. • After that, you will shadow a floor nurse for the remainder of the afternoon. • You will then have 1 shift of orientation with a floor staff, then be on your own.

We are a new facility and have only been open 2 years. This is a very exciting place to work.
