CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Department: Radiology
• Specialty: CT (with MRI skills preferred)
• Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Monday 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36 (40 guaranteed weekly hours)
• Call: On call a couple of nights per week, rotated with other techs
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, and some Pediatrics
• Patient Load: 20-30 patients per tech (2 techs on shift)
• Equipment: GE imaging systems
• EHR System: Paragon
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; no t-shirts or hoodies allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• CT Registered

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs bi-weekly with upcoming start dates available
• Facility is a 154-bed hospital with multiple specialties including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women’s care, emergency, and behavioral health
• Location is approximately 20 miles from Asheville, NC, near Great Smoky Mountains National Park
• Weekend hours only required if using PTO

Summary

This travel CT Tech role requires a minimum of 2 years CT experience with ARRT CT registration and BLS certification. The position involves weekend and extended weekday shifts with on-call duties. Candidates should be proficient in advanced CT procedures or fluoroscopy on CT and ideally have MRI skills. The role offers exposure to a diverse adult and pediatric patient population in a well-equipped radiology department.
