Description
- Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Location: La Mesa
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
- Shift: 8 Hour Day Shifts
- Variable shifts Monday–Friday:
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Variable shifts Monday–Friday:
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
On-Call Requirement:
- On-call on an as-needed basis
- 45-minute response time required
- If a dose is needed:
- NM Tech will contact pharmacy from home to order the dose
- Inform ordering provider regarding wait time
- Report onsite once dose arrival is expected (typically 1–1.5 hours)
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology experience
Required Certifications:
- Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) – California Department of Public Health
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) – NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- CT Certification:
- ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
- BLS (AHA)
Education Requirement:
- Completion of formal training program in an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology school meeting California/Federal certification requirements
