Description
CST – OR (Ophthalmology)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Details
- Position: Certified Surgical Tech (CST) – OR
- Specialty: Ophthalmology / Eye Surgery
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 Hours/Week (4x10 Schedule)
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for procedures
- Assist surgeons during ophthalmology surgical cases
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries
- Participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure proper handling of specimens and supplies
- Support patient safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Minimum recent Surgical Tech experience required
- Ophthalmology/Eye Surgery experience REQUIRED
- Active Surgical Technician Certification REQUIRED
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
