Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele / PCU
Titusville, Florida | Parrish Medical Center

Position Overview
Parrish Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity MS/Tele mixed unit caring for Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU-level patients. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong cardiac telemetry experience, dysrhythmia management, and comfort managing a 1:6 patient ratio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Med Surg/Telemetry background with experience caring for progressive care patients and the ability to float within scope as needed.
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Shift: Nights – 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Float Requirement: Yes, within scope
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Beds: 210
- Parking: Free
Patient Population
- Adults & Geriatrics
- High-acuity Med Surg/Telemetry and PCU-level patients
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele or PCU experience
- Strong experience with 1:6 patient ratios required
- Experience with:
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Dysrhythmia interpretation & management
- Cardiac drips (non-titration)
- CVA/stroke patients
- Chest tube management
- Active Florida RN License or Compact License in hand
- Must live more than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers)
Required Certifications
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS/BCLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
Preferred Experience & Skills
- PCU/Stepdown experience
- Orthopedic & total joint replacement care
- Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
- Renal failure patients
- Wound care/Wound Vac
- Tracheostomy care
- BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC management
- PICC & central line management
- Blood product administration
- Heparin protocols
