Required Education: -Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program. OR -Graduated from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past Six (6) months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam). OR -Two (2) years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last Three (3) years.
Required Certifications & Licensure: -Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -Active National Certification as an ORT in Surgery. OR -Certified Surgical Technologist.
