Description
Level III high-risk facility with 11 LDR s + 2 OB ED Beds, 2 OR s, 23 Postpartum rooms, and a 27 bed Level III NICU
Float: Routinely float to Mother-Baby or L&D to care for newborns. They are baby nurse/transition nurse for new babies and cares for well babies on the mother-baby unit while another nurse cares for the mom.
Patient Ratio: AWHONN/NANN guidelines, so 3-4 continuous care, 2-3 intermediate care, 1-2 intensive care, 1 multi-system support care.
