Description

Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Job Summary

Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures by assessing medical history and current condition.
Prepare and operate specialized equipment during procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to universal precautions and using personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and healthcare team members to support smooth procedures.
Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures.
Engage in ongoing education and professional development, including mentoring others.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education and Licensure

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
Graduation from one of the following programs:
- Radiology Technology
- Respiratory Therapy
- Cardiovascular Technology Program
- Appropriately recognized Paramedic Program
ARRT Radiology Technologist Registry (ARRT RT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
- Respiratory Therapy
- Radiology Technology
- Paramedic
