Job Details:

Position: RN Mother Baby/ Post Partum
Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Shift: Nights: 3x12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week - may float across all campuses to MB, PP, and/or L&D units
Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled
On Call Requirements: None
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hr

Other Details:

Experience in Labor & Delivery [preferred]
1 year experience in Post Partum / mother-baby care [required]
High risk OB experience [preferred]
EPIC EMR experience [required]
Experience with Magnesium & Insulin [required]
C-section & vaginal delivery experience [preferred]

Unit Info:

Bed Size: 45 bed, 2 OR
Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 couplets
Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries
Drips: magnesium, insulin
Scrubs: hospital provided

Certification Requirements:

BLS (AHA)
NRP
