IMC RN – 

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Contract End Date: Sunday (not Saturday)

Required Licenses & Certifications

• WI RN License
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2+ years RN experience (required – no exceptions)
• Stepdown / Intermediate Care / PCU experience (required)
• Ventilator experience (required)
• Tracheostomy care experience (required)
• At least 1 completed travel assignment (required)

Preferred Experience

• ICU experience
• Level II Trauma experience
• EPIC charting experience

Unit Information

• 36-Bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)
• Heavy Telemetry population
• Fast-paced environment
• Typical patient ratio: 4:1

• Stable & Weaning Ventilator Patients
• Tracheostomy Patients
• Sepsis
• Trauma
• Alcohol Detox
• GI Bleeds
• Colostomy/Ileostomy Patients
• Chest Tubes
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Orthopedic Trauma
• Spinal Cord Injuries
• Stroke Patients
• Insulin Drips
• Telemetry Monitoring

Float Requirements

• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Typically floats to higher-acuity units

Weekend & Holiday Requirements

• Every Other Weekend
• Every Other Holiday

Low Census

• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable time
• Can be low-censused in hourly increments

Charting System

• EPIC Preferred
