Registered Nurse – MICU

Location: Albany, Georgia
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Unit Description

Medical ICU (MICU) cares for chronically ill patients requiring ventilation and complex medication management.
Patient diagnoses may include hypertensive urgency, sepsis, or cerebrovascular accident (CVA).
The unit is designated for COVID-positive patients.
May also receive Surgical or Cardiac ICU patients if no other beds are available.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license.
ACLS and BLS certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience managing critically ill patients, including titrating pressors and managing IV medications.

Additional Information

Strict 75-mile radius travel restriction applies.
