• Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM (4x10 hour shifts)
• No call required
• Holidays off if they fall on scheduled shift
• No local candidates within 50 miles accepted

Job Description

• Operate advanced imaging protocols including CT Cardiac, Stroke perfusion, and Trauma
• Assist with procedure protocols for patients with varying acuity levels (ICU, Trauma, General Anesthesia, Sedation, Inpatient)
• Evaluate images for technical quality and prioritize for Radiologist review
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS (image archival system)
• Provide orientation and education for new technologists and student technologists
• Assist with education and training of physicians (interns, residents, fellows, attendings)
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicists to develop new imaging protocols and techniques
• Perform unit/department specific duties as assigned
• Physically active role requiring ambulation, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
• Exposure to patients with contagious illnesses
• Facility operates 24/7; rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather may be required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• One year or more of total travel experience as a CT technologist
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• CT Certification
