Rehabilitation Therapy Contract Position

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract (26 weeks)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Job Overview

Provide rehabilitation therapy services in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by physicians.
Independently manage a full caseload and update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements.
Must be available to work on Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed.
Use department equipment and electronic medical records systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech.

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year.
Experience working with adult patients in both outpatient and acute care settings.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross.

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the assignment start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
Timely arrival is mandatory; do not accept the start date if unable to meet this requirement.

It’s always 4 to 1 except hallways you might only have 3. The staff is so kind and welcoming I have nothing bad to say about them. This was my favorite assignment so far
