Job Description

Specialties: Med/Surg Women's Health, Med/Surg Oncology
Patient Population: Experience with GYN and Oncology patients required; pediatric experience is not required.
Unit Details: Med/Surg unit with responsibilities including central lines, ports, and drains.
Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6-8

Required Certifications

BLS - Basic Life Support
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (as applicable)
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (as applicable)
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as applicable)
CHEMO - Chemotherapy (as applicable)
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (as applicable)
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (as applicable)
NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute (as applicable)

Health Documents

Physical Exam - within 12 months of start
Fit Test - required within 1 year of start
Adult TDAP Vaccine - required within 10 years of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray - within 1 year of start
Drug Testing - Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
Vaccination Records - for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella

Background and History Requirements

7 Year Background Check - within 1 year of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM - required upon hire
HHS/OIG - required upon hire
References - 2 Professional References required for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care

Additional Information

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Internal Requirements: I9, E-Verify, and various documentation as specified.
