Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Flexible scheduling: Candidates should communicate any needed time off during the contract period.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Utah
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (required by agency, not client).
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start.
- 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, and Rubella; boosters required if no prior vaccines.
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer showing immunity required (vaccine series alone not accepted). Exemptions considered case-by-case.
- 2 Varicella vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if no prior vaccines.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (mid-September to mid-May) with strict deadlines; medical and religious exemptions accepted case-by-case. Declinations not allowed.
- Tuberculosis screening:
- 2-step PPD within 1 year of start or QGold/TSPOT within 1 year.
- For past positive TB, clear chest X-ray within 1 year plus TB questionnaire required.
- Respirator clearance:
- Annual medical clearance required for candidates using respirators with patient interaction.
- Fit mask testing not required for Radiology Techs.
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required.
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- E-Verify compliance required.
- Facility-specific immunization exemption form available for medical/religious exemptions.
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable to specialty.
Notes
- Non-latex gloves are available for candidates with latex allergies.
- Candidates must have all required health documents on file prior to facility review of any exemptions.
- New background checks required if there is a gap of more than 30 days between assignments.
- New drug screen required if there is a gap of more than 24 hours between contracts.
