Job Details

• Location: Keyser, West Virginia
• Department: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• ER Beds: 8
• Average Daily Census: 29 patients
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2, can be up to 1:4
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Floating: No floating required
• Call: Travelers are generally not put on call unless requested
• Providers on Unit: NP/PA coverage from 10 AM to 8 PM daily

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• NIHSS

Additional Requirements

• Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver’s license with application
• Must disclose any licensing issues at time of submission
• Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license for West Virginia
• Experience in Emergency Room nursing (minimum 1 year recommended based on specialty)
