Location: Lewiston, Maine

Unit & Facility Overview

20-bed Intermediate Care/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) with Trauma Level III designation
Patient population: Adult and Geriatric (no pediatrics)
Patient ratios: 1:4 in IMC / 1:5 in Telemetry
Equipment: Philips monitoring system
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Epic

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Intermediate Care / Cardiac Telemetry
Shift hours: Approximately 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Call requirements: None
Float requirements: Yes
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care, with at least 1 year of recent Cardiac PCU experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Clinical Focus & Common Diagnoses

Care for patients with stable STEMI and post-cardiac procedures
Medical intermediate care patients
