Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment - Utah

Location

• Lehi, Utah (approximately 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift and Hours

• Day or night shifts available
• 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• May require flexible hours before/after standard shifts and overtime exceeding 40 hours per week
• On-call coverage required outside of scheduled hours per department/facility policy (e.g., every other weekend)

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• PALS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (preferred)
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Must be able to submit a valid driver’s license

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate/revise therapy plans as needed
• Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy assistance, and pulse oximetry
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities
• May be required to work as the sole respiratory therapist on shift

Orientation

• Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are completed remotely
