Cath Lab Technician

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On-Call Requirements:

• On call 2 days per week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM for two weeks
• Then on call every third weekend, from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday

Job Description

• Position requires a Radiologic Technologist with experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Iowa.
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, and dependent adult & child abuse registry checks required within 30 days of start.
• Verification of education and licensure within 30 days of start.
• Completion of various professional compliance forms and agreements, including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Non-Employee Upload Form
  • Criminal background and exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO, OFAC) within 30 days of start.
• Completion of Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year.
• System access form must be completed and uploaded one week before start.

• Resume and skills checklist (completed within the past year).
• Two professional references.

Additional Notes

• The agency will provide the specialty skills checklist for clinical contractors.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Contract length is approximately 13 weeks.
