CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Illinois

Location

• City: Quincy, IL
• Region: West central Illinois, near St. Louis and Springfield

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Department & Equipment

• Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
• Scanners: 2 GE CT scanners (Revolution EVO APEX in ED, Revolution EVO in main department)
• Imaging: All CT exams except cardiac or perfusion studies
• Patient types: Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department exams
• Average volume: 60-100 scans per day
• EMR/PACS systems: BAR (Allscripts based), Scimage PICOM (PACS)
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on site
• Radiologist coverage: No in-house radiologist overnight; radiologist available 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday

Work Schedule

• Shifts: Evening and Night
• Hours per week: 40
• Scheduling: Set hours for travelers; no self-scheduling
• Weekend assignments available (weekday and weekend shifts)
• Holiday work may be required based on need
• Call/standby: As needed with response time expectations

Job Duties

• Perform all CT exams except cardiac or perfusion studies
• Start IVs as required
• No floating or coverage of other departments

Orientation & Dress Code

• Orientation during weekday first shift hours
• Scrub color: Light grey (scrubs provided)

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification in CT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
