Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location

Escondido, California

Contract Details

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Hours per week: 36

Job Description

Labor RN's float to Postpartum (PP)
RN's may float to a nearby campus
Cerner EMR charting system used
No local candidates accepted
No first-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
Certifications required (must carry copies at all times):
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
