CT Technologist

Location: Bryan, Texas
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Details

• Work primarily in Radiology (CT) department with 3 GE scanners (one 16-slice and two 64-slice)
• Perform CT scans with and without contrast, averaging 16-24 scans per day
• Experience with ER and inpatient settings required
• Use Meditech EMR and Fuji PACS systems
• Start IVs as part of duties
• Float between two campuses approximately 16 minutes apart as needed
• Weekend work every other weekend (EOW) and occasional holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Call rotation every 6th week with a 30-minute response time; call schedule varies by day of week
• Call is back-up only; there is always someone in-house
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Dress code: black scrubs (not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Texas MRT license
• BLS Certification
• Experience in ER and inpatient CT imaging

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with a certain large healthcare system within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
• Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination
• May be asked to precept new staff as needed
