Job Opportunity: RRT Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)

Location

Charleston, South Carolina

Position Details

Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatrics
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: May float within scope depending on experience; no floating to sister facilities
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Teaching hospital with Magnet designation and Level 1 Trauma center
Total staffed beds: 865
Electronic Health Record system: Epic
Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
Parking: Paid parking required nights and weekends; one-time $20 parking pass fee
Hurricane Season: June through November; travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during this period

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
