Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift (Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week)
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None
• Call Requirement: None
• Orientation: Week of orientation required in-state; 4 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation (4x10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday)
• Dress Code: Scrubs or any professional solid colors
• Manager/Supervisor: Yes, present on each shift

Job Duties & Treatments

• Types of treatments include:

  • External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT)
  • Internal Radiation Therapy (IRT)
  • Proton Therapy
  • Brachytherapy
  • 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRT, VMAT
  • Permanent implants
  • Microwave, Gamma Knife, TomoTherapy
• Average patient load: 34 patients per day

Equipment & Software

• EPIC
• Aria
• Trubeam
• Vision RT
• CT

Required Qualifications

• Certified Radiation Therapist (ARRT (T))
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• Must be within a 60-mile radius and submit a valid driver’s license
