Physical Therapist - Home Health (Travel/Contract)

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week)
• Caseload: Adult health care cases, approximately 6 visits per day
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Block schedule, Monday through Friday
• Local Candidates: Accepted within the same Baltimore metro area radius
• First-time Travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Maryland
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Compliance & Documentation

• Education: Highest degree transcript/diploma or education verification required
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Employment Application: Complete application or resume required
• Competency Exams: Medication/pharmacology competency exam and general competency exam required as applicable
• Background Screening: Fingerprinting required for behavioral health units (MD CJIS/DSS/FBI), must be completed in Maryland with results prior to start
• Facility Policies:

  • Smoke/nicotine free campus, no exceptions
  • Tobacco-free workplace acknowledgment form required
• Other:

  • Primary source verification of state license required
  • Nursys verification required for RNs (if applicable)

Additional Notes

• No on-call or weekend requirements
• One request allowed for return to office (RTO) restrictions
• Prior travel experience is not required for this position
