Job Opportunity: RN - Behavioral Health (Adult Psychiatry/Detox)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Position Details

Specialty: Adult Psychiatry/Detox
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1
Unit Beds: 21
Patient Ratios: 2-3 RNs for 21 patients, supported by 2 Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) and 1 Patient Care (PC) staff
EMR System: Cerner
Dress Code: Galaxy Blue scrubs (no black or galaxy blue bottoms)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Behavioral Health experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with adult patients

Unit & Patient Information

Acute psychiatric patient population
Behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment
Specialized care for children, adolescents, and adults with complex behavioral health needs

Contract Length

13 weeks (interpreted from contract_length value)

No float or call requirements
Focus on acute psychiatric care in a behavioral health hospital setting
Emphasis on working in a team environment with mental health technicians and patient care staff
