Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech (Travel)

Location: San Jose, California
Facility: Good Samaritan Hospital (HCA Healthcare)
Unit: 725 Breast Diagnostics, Breast Care Center, Los Gatos, CA

Employment Details

Type: Travel assignment
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch 12-1pm)
Staffing: 6 techs, 6 support staff, 1 RN
Patient Ratios: Variable

Unit Information

Equipment: Hologic mammography machines
EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures:
- Screening mammography
- Diagnostic mammography

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must be licensed in California
Certifications:
- CRT or ARRT in Mammography
- ARRT in Radiology (for MQSA purposes)
Initial qualifications include:
- 40 hours of training
- 25 supervised exams
- 8 hours digital certification
- 8 hours tomography certification
Must-have skills:
- 3D Mammography skills
