Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PICU
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length
- 8 weeks
Shift Details
- 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Flexible float to Children’s ED and New Born Nursery as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current NC or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Department experience
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Required skillset: Pediatric Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care
Additional Information
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt
- Cancellation allowed up to 2 shifts in a 13-week contract due to low census
- Travel experience is highly preferred (prior travel experience not explicitly required)
- Scrub color policy: Red, Black, or Gray solid colors only; no designs unless working in Pediatric areas
- Must be adaptable, resilient, and able to manage change well
This position is ideal for experienced PICU nurses comfortable with pediatric critical care and flexible floating within pediatric units.
