Job Details

• Specialty: Echo Technician
• Location: Reno, Nevada
• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily weekdays
  • 2-3 weekend days per month
  • Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call shifts: 1-2 weeknights per week and 1-2 weekends per month
• Urgency: Immediate start preferred
• Additional Skills: Ability to perform vascular ultrasound is a plus but not required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technician
• Recent Echo Technician experience within the last year
• Echo Technician license or certification as required for the position
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Professional license/certification primary source verification within 30 days of start
• Copy of diploma or transcripts if third-party verification unavailable
• COVID-19 vaccination: 2 vaccines plus booster or completed declination
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine or declination required during flu season
• TB test within one year of start date
• Driver’s license, state ID, or passport required
• Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer
• Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted)
• Physical/Health statement completed within 60 days of start, stating clear to work
• National criminal background check within one year of start date
• Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC within 60 days of start
• Specialty and core competency exams with minimum 80% score
• Skills checklist and orientation packet completion
• Prime OIG, SAM/EPLS exclusion checks
• Resume and two professional references (one from a manager or supervisor) required

Optional/Additional

• Annual respirator fit test (if applicable)
• Color-blind test annually
• Name verification affidavit if name discrepancies exist
• Badge photo (may be requested)
