Smile Design Laurel Ridge in Sarasota, Florida, is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! Whether you’re an experienced hygienist or a new graduate ready to begin your career, we’re looking for someone who is goal-oriented, motivated to grow, and excited to be part of a strong, team-focused environment.
Our office is collaborative, energetic, fast-paced, hardworking, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, patient-centered preventive and periodontal care
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, screenings, and other hygiene services within the scope of practice
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and recommended treatment
- Build strong relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable and confident in their care
- Partner with the doctor and clinical team to support comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Follow clinical, infection control, and safety standards
- Contribute to office and hygiene goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to keep the day running smoothly
Qualifications
- Current or pending Florida Dental Hygienist license
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Experienced hygienists are also encouraged to apply
- Goal-oriented with a desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally
- Strong communication and patient education skills

Qualifications:
• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients, provide preventative care, and maintain patients’ dental health
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
