Transmountain Campus is a full service hospital with 106 beds in northwest El Paso. The Medical Plaza located adjacent to The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus features physician clinic space. 

Transmountain Campus also serves as a teaching facility for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso medical students, residents, nursing students and researchers.

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.<ul><li>Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. </li><li>Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Required:  Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program, CT/MRI registry eligible </li></ul> Experience:<ul><li>Required:  2 years clinical experience in more than one modality. ARRT CT/MRI registry eligible required</li><li>Preferred:  ARRT CT or MRI  </li></ul> Certifications:<ul><li>Required:  ARRT (R) and documentation of CT or MRI experience, must obtain advance credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire. This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.<ul><li>The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.</li><li>The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.</li><li>The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.</li><li>Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.</li><li>Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.</li><li>Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.</li><li>Responsible for knowing the Hospital’s emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.</li><li>Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Required: Must have 1 YOE of RN experience for PRN status.</li><li>Preferred: Recent acute care experience.</li></ul>Certifications:<ul><li>Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.</li></ul> #LI-AT1
