This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a step-down unit, ensuring a smooth transition for patients moving from intensive care to a general medical unit. The ideal candidate will display exceptional clinical judgment and compassion in patient care.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Monitor and assess patient conditions, intervening as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.</li>
    <li>Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.</li>
    <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.</li>

    <li>A minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry, Stepdown, or Med-Surg nursing.</li>
    <li>Experience in Critical Care is acceptable if the candidate is proficient in managing Med-Surg patient ratios and acuity.</li>
    <li>Current certifications required: BLS and NHISS prior to start; ACLS is preferred.</li>
    <li>Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80% or higher.</li>
    <li>Experience with EMR systems, preferably Cerner.</li>
