CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances - Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital—the first and only heart hospital in the region. Our program builds upon more than 25 years of pioneering heart care for East Texans and launches a new era in improved cardiac care and patient safety. The Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital is the leading provider of arrhythmia management in East Texas. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation (A-Fib), a leading cause of stroke, and the most common abnormality in the heart. Our electrophysiology program is the most established in the region. The technology available in our lab is second to none and includes: two 3D mapping systems, intracardiac echocardiography, open irrigated tip catheters for ablation, and an excimer laser. We were the first in Texas to use remote magnetic navigation technology for ablations and various arrhythmias.
