Med Surg Unit 3ea teamwork is amazing, love most of the staff!!

Unit manager has mental problems?? After I picked up for her as a favor on someone else’s schedule who left last minute without notice - she gave me an incredibly difficult time for requesting one day off while I was still technically in my orientation period. Literally argued on the phone with me and told me I had to trade with a coworker. When I had finished my contract in 12 weeks on good standing with good attendance, she refused to extend me even though they needed the help and then she sabotaged my other application to a separate unit (reported by a UM) because she was holding a grudge against me. 3 months later…seems pretty messed up to me.

Staff and surgeons are very welcoming to travelers. Manager works with you for the most optimal schedule.

Hard to find housing. Hotels are expensive.

Somewhat traveler friendly, just depends on the nurse. Laziness and snarkiness are definitely frowned upon.

A lot of times the techs are shorthanded, you could easily have half of the unit by yourself as a tech.
