As a full time employee the learning experience at this hospital is great. Best place to work in the area.  The pay is not as high but the learning experience is worth the pay cut. It’s very well structured compared to tenet hospitals. But travelers do say this hospital is not as good as others they’ve been to.

It helps if you speak Spanish here. Fast paced. Lots of cool things to see. Connected to Texas Tech University. If you love Hispanic culture, great food, mountain desert hikes, check this place out. The cafeteria sells authentic Mexican food with fresh salsa. Pretty high acuity.

PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Management will be on your… like a hawk. They will fire you for anything even if you report negligence from other employees. HR  is friends with management and will literally do nothing to them. Be prepared to be harassed by the manager in 5th floor medsurg unit
