Position Summary:
Oversees the Pharmacy technicians and processes within the pharmacy.  Ensures compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations.  May advise physicians on medication utilization. This supervisor will function in  a staff pharmacist role as needed. Oversees department in absence of Director and Managers. Performs duties as Pharmacist as needed.                         1. Performs assessment of patient therapy that demonstrates knowledge and consideration of age specific and cultural differences.  Makes recommendations to modify therapy to meet the age specific requirements of the newborn (0 to 30 days), pediatric (1 to 12 years), adolescent (13 to 17 years), adult (18 to 70 years), and geriatric (71+ years) patients.                         2.
