Description
Join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners, where you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their quality of life through occupational therapy. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in outpatient care and a passion for orthopedics and hand therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to assess and treat patients with orthopedic and hand conditions.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care programs.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on outpatient care.
- Experience in orthopedics and hand therapy is preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to split time between the Brunswick Main Campus and the Saint Simons office, as needed.
