Description

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is looking for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit to start right away in a dynamic environment.

Location: Boston, MA

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU.
Manage a variety of cases including Substance Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic Shock.
Collaborate with attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours/day.
Float to Medical/Surgical Units as needed, managing up to 4 or 5 patients.
Maintain telemetry competency and accurately read tele strips.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of continuous MICU experience.
Active Massachusetts RN License.
Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications.
Competency in telemetry and ability to read tele strips.
Willingness to work nights and every other weekend, with the possibility of rotating shifts.
