Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support in an operating room environment, ensuring patient safety and care during surgical procedures.
Position Information
- Department: Operating Room
- Number of Openings: Numerous
- Shift: Evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM CST
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Rotation: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
- Call Requirements: One overnight call from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for Trauma; call scheduled per specialty team rules if on a specialty team (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in surgical technology
Education & Certifications Required
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required

- Number of Beds: 26
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment Used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
Hiring Profile
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience
- Preferred Skills/Experience: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular
- Type of Patients: Surgical patients in the operating room
- Personality Fit: Flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Teal scrubs issued from the hospital
