Job Description
This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry, Medical-Surgical (MS), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency across all specialties and possess a strong capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Information
- 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU settings.
- Monitor cardiac and vital signs, including conducting basic dysrhythmia assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1, adjusting as necessary for higher-acuity cases.
- Conduct assessments and provide care to a diverse patient population, spanning from newborns to geriatrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU nursing.
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring and related telemetry procedures.
- Experience with Medhost software is preferred.
- Rural or small facility experience is highly valued.
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Basic dysrhythmia competency must be confirmed.
Additional Information
Candidates must adhere to the dress code of personal scrubs in any color. All requested time off must be noted at the time of application, as requests made after submission will not be approved. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this position.
Travelers must have access to their own vehicle for commuting to and from work.
