Job Description

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Surgical Technologist with the ability to scrub and circulate for various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neurology, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants. Experience with liver transplants is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures in various specialties, ensuring a sterile environment and efficient workflows.
• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide support for general surgery, robotics, transplants, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, GYN, urology, organ procurement, and trauma cases.
• Participate in the care for patients undergoing inpatient Level I trauma surgeries and a wide range of surgical procedures.

Schedule

This position requires a 10-hour evening shift, consisting of 40 hours per week, with availability for up to two weekends per month. You will be scheduled for either call shifts or working shifts, with a required response time of 30 minutes for on-call duties. A short call shift will be assigned once a week.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Surgical Technologist in various surgical specialties is required.
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating for diverse surgical cases.
• Must be able to float to multiple locations within the region.
• Eligible to work on holidays as they arise during the contract period.

Additional Information

Orientation for this position is conducted weekly, with new sessions every Monday, excluding holidays. Parking may incur additional costs, and candidates are encouraged to inquire for specific details.
