Job Description

An opportunity is available for a full-time temporary Dietitian. The position requires the ability to manage a caseload of patients in an inpatient setting, with a focus on providing comprehensive dietary assessments and interventions to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and reassessments for the adult and geriatric patient population.
• Provide nutrition-focused physical exams.
• Manage enteral nutrition and therapeutic diet orders.
• Address nutrition therapy complications effectively.
• Achieve a productivity expectation of 10-12 interventions per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Dietitian experience.
• Prior experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Experience in a community hospital is required.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification is required.
• Active Maryland Dietitian licensure is required.

Additional Information

• No floating to other units is required.
• Block scheduling is not available for this position.
• Local candidates are accepted.
• Time off restrictions include auto-approval for 14 days or less of requested time off, with specific holidays being mandatory work days.

Charting System

Experience with Cerner or similar charting systems is required.
