Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality surgical care to patients. This position requires availability for weekday, weekend, and holiday calls, and may involve charge nurse responsibilities.

Shift Details

• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Educate patients and their families about perioperative care and recovery processes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current State Registered Nurse License.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
