Job Details

This position is a full-time opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with an 8-hour day shift schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Inpatient Occupational Therapy
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Years of Experience Required: 1 year
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will perform the following duties:

• Evaluate and provide treatment for patients across various units including adult and pediatric ICUs, trauma centers, and rehabilitation programs.
• Conduct approximately 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per day, depending on patient needs.
• Document patient progress and justify the next level of care.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide care to a diverse clientele with a variety of diagnoses, including neuro, orthopedic, and oncology cases.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin state license and certifications as required.

Work Environment

This role involves working in multiple areas including acute inpatient, skilled services, and outpatient settings. Occupational Therapists will be required to cover all designated therapy areas as needed.

Additional Information

OT professionals must complete a credentialing process and onboarding requirements, including obtaining a Wisconsin state license, before starting. The onboarding process may take up to 2 months.
