Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This position involves working with patients to enhance their cognitive and functional abilities through structured therapeutic programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate at least two structured therapy groups daily.
• Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions as needed.
• Perform cognitive testing upon request, using assessments such as MoCA, SLUMS, and CPT.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral therapy setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering cognitive assessments: SLUMS, MoCA, and CPT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend assignments.

Dress Code

Pewter scrubs with a business casual approach are required.

Orientation

All new hires will undergo a one-week orientation process with the lead therapist.
